Woodruff Library

The library building covers two city blocks, and is centrally located to the six member institutions that compose the Atlanta University Center complex which the library serves. The tri-level contemporary structure has approximately 75,000 useable square feet and can house over 1 million volumes of books. The building features solar grey-tinted insulated glass, a computerized energy management system, a halon system for archival document preservation, an energy efficient metal halide lighting system and special facilities for the physically challenged.
