Fire Station #14

This station presented the designer with a very limited site located within an urban environment. The station is located immediately adjacent to a school. The location of the school facility and the proximity of its outdoor play areas had a direct bearing upon how apparatus maintenance and apparatus bay access were planned and executed within the design. This station has a community room, apparatus bay, administrative area, sleeping accommodations for men and women, kitchen and a multi-purpose/dining area.
